The short answer
Structured data describes content in a machine-readable form. Choose a supported type that accurately matches the page and follow the relevant search-engine guidance. Valid syntax alone does not establish eligibility for every result enhancement.
Match schema to visible content
Structured data describes content in a machine-readable form. Choose a supported type that accurately matches the page and follow the relevant search-engine guidance. Valid syntax alone does not establish eligibility for every result enhancement.
Schema Generator creates JSON-LD and Schema Validator checks it. Review the claims and fields yourself. Do not invent reviews, prices or organizational facts to fill a schema template. The markup must agree with what visitors can see.
Treat discovery and access separately
A sitemap helps communicate URLs. Robots controls crawler access according to the applicable protocol; it is not a way to guarantee indexing. Check whether important pages are reachable through links and whether access restrictions are intentional.
GSEO Technical is described as covering schema and AI crawler checks. Sitemap & llms.txt Generator is an included Editor module. Verify generated files against your actual site and crawler policy rather than publishing defaults without review.
Keep llms.txt claims cautious
llms.txt is a proposed convention for presenting information to language models. Do not describe it as a required ranking factor or a guarantee of AI citations. Google’s AI-feature documentation says no special AI text files are necessary for those features.
Use documented search requirements as the baseline. Test structured data using the appropriate validator, check live URLs and distinguish schema validity from actual search appearance. Neither valid markup nor a sitemap guarantees inclusion or citations.
A practical workflow
- 1
Identify the page type and verified visible facts.
- 2
Generate and validate appropriate structured data.
- 3
Check published URLs, links, sitemap and intentional crawler restrictions.
- 4
Evaluate optional llms.txt separately from established indexing requirements.
A worked example
An educational guide can use Article markup and truthful organization information. Adding fabricated review stars or unsupported FAQ expectations would not improve its trustworthiness. A valid Article object still does not promise a rich result.
Illustrative example, not a customer result.
Before you publish
- Markup reflects visible content.
- Required fields contain verified facts.
- Crawler restrictions are intentional.
- Optional AI files are not presented as ranking guarantees.

Common questions
Does valid schema guarantee a rich result?
No. Validity, policy compliance and result eligibility are separate from whether a search engine displays an enhancement.
Do I need llms.txt for Google AI features?
Google’s documentation says special AI text files are not required for those features.
